4-H Fundraiser Raises $4,252.76 for Hog Barn Improvements at the Fairgrounds 4-H Day at Frisco’s held Sunday, February 28, 2010 was a huge success. John and Virginia Watson, owners of Frisco’s were generous enough to open their doors and serve delicious buffet as a 4-H fundraiser. Buffet tickets were sold in the community by 4-H members, leaders, parents and Frisco’s staff for the fundraiser. Proceeds from the Buffet go for improvements in the hog barn at the fairgrounds. Over 350 buffet tickets were sold and many donations made with a total amount raised of $4,252.76 for the hog barn. Oak Hill 4-H families baked desserts to sell at the fundraiser and sold tv raffle tickets for an additional $2,248.25. This event raised a total of $6,501.00 and wouldn’t have been possible without such a great supportive community. A big thank you to all who supported this event in some way!
